How this website got started
I was buying and selling stuff on the Internet through auctions just as you do today. But then I realized, how do you determine if the person selling you that stuff, didn't steal it himself? Where can I look to see if it has been stolen?
The idea came to build the Theft Library as a fully automated website and database to allow Internet users to submit Theft Reports, and others to search for them.
